Right, because the people who answer those phones are PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE for the pop up ads. It's just one guy and he does everything.

*Sigh* This isn't like it's a telemarketer who called you so it's carte blanche to be rude - you're calling THEM so you have to play by their rules.

Advanced Rules:
Step one: Ask for Marketing.
Step two: Tell them why the ads annoy you. Do not curse or yell - if you do, you lose.
If you can get them to change their ways (hey, you can try) you win.

Basic Rules:
Step one: Call from payphone.
Step two: As soon as the machine answers, hang up.

Actually, I have a simpler solution: I just turn Javascript off. I turn it on only when I'm in the board here, but every once in awhile (like yesterday, before I posted), I forget to turn it off.

Remember, kids: No Javascript means no popups, popunders, or fresh popovers.
