Mine do. Not officially, of course. We didn't sit down and decide that they needed middle names. They are not purebred critters who require yard-long nomenclatures. Just during day-to-day interaction their personalities suggested certain names. I use their middle names when I need to get their attention, just like your mother probably did/does with you. They are as follows:Dogs: Tootsie --> Tootsie May Emma --> Emma Bee Cats: Stretch --> Stretchy Maria Vooshka --> Vooshka LaRue Sadie --> Sadie Sadie Sadie So... anyway. What about your pets?
This is truly mind-numblingly senseless BS, isn't it? Yet, I must know! ------------------ Clothes make the man. Naked people have little to no influence on society. -Mark Twain IP: Logged |

Bubbles is Bubbie Boo to my mum, and Lucky is L. Duke. They should be given real middle names, like Charles and Katharine, but then their names wouldn't fit on the tags and I'd just end up forgetting the middle names.IP: Logged |

Kirby's full name is Miss Kirby Louise Edna Fae Gina Marie Louise Lucille (yes, two Louises - named after a vacuum cleaner, a distant aunt, a former neighbor/friend, and a high school chum from the South with the most incredible set of names I've ever heard). Derwood prefers Mr. Derwood T. Cat (he says the T stands for "the," but I think his jellicle name is Tiberius). IP: Logged |

My parents refer to my cat as "Cricket Renee" when he knocks shit over or acts like a freak because they say he's just as ornery as I am. My middle name is Renee. Jerks. IP: Logged |

Heh, poor Y2K! When one of our dogs misbehaves, I will accuse her of taking after my husband's side of the family. However, according to my husband the cats all take after me. I think it's because they're all beautiful. Certainly it has nothing to do with them being little bitches. IP: Logged |

My favorite dog, now deceased: Oceanus J. Pig. (And as was secret even to her, the J. stood for Juniper) My cat now: Agent Cat Mulder.

*looks bewildered**checks people's posts to see if they have hidden content* *still doesn't understand* I don't even have a middle name. I'm beginning to think my parents deprived me of more than just fashion and television. IP: Logged |

Shaney is sometimes Shenanigan Q. Birdsall; the Q doesn't really stand for anything, though. Our other pets once in a while acquire similar middle initials, but not frequently enough that I remember which. IP: Logged |
