Wondrous Fnordia Self-Made User	posted May 29, 2001 09:07 PM I openly admit it: I enjoy the game of Pokemon. I used to play my gameboy for hours on end, training up those perky lil' critters to maim, kill, and destroy, until it got to be so over-played that it made me want to vomit. It didn't take much. But that is not the point... if I ever had one. Anywho, the thing is that now that the craze has died down again, I feel less conspicuious in starting up in Pokemon Gold. It is so much more amusing, though, now that I've started naming the pokemon. There's just something about saying "Bombadil! I choose YOU!" That makes my heart race and my blood pump... it sends chills down my spine! So far, only a scant handful of Brunchers have been temporarily immortalized in my game- but, oh yesss.... it goes on.... attemps a maniacal laugh, but trails off, wondering if she has just gone and pointed out that she is a major loser. le sigh... On the other hand, playing the Pokemon card game will send you straight to hell. Long story short, the UFO guy rants and raves, and Ash turns his head, looks at the gang and says, "How do these guys FIND us?" To which Pikachu reponds, "Piiii-ka" in this total "No SHIT" tone of voice. The only one that springs readily to mind is Aiki, 'cuz the Mankey in his little karate pose made it jump straight to my head. It just spiraled downward from there. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! And yes, the card game will be a ticket straight to hell, as will owning a plush Cthulhu, but that's a different story... IP: Logged

I also have several decks of the cards, and although the complexity of the game is like Magic the Gathering for the catatonic, I still indulge occasionally. I used to watch the show every afternoon (twice a day, thanks to the WB) but I got over that months ago. Unfortunately though, I watched long enough that I have all the words to the opening song memorized. I also only ever play as Pikachu in the game Super Smash Brothers, in case anyone here knows what that is. Well, OK, lately I've been disloyal and tried Captian Falcon, but Pika is still my favorite. Fast Learner Self-Made User	posted May 30, 2001 10:21 PM Hello, my name is Fast Learner, and I'm a Pikachu fan. (Hello Fasty.) I'm a 37 year old male, and I absolutely LOVE Pikachu. I have the moving, talking Pikachu, as well as 3 or 4 other stuffed Pikachus. I have little Pikachus, sticker Pikachus, poster Pikachus, writing utensil Pikachus. It is a sickness, but one I'm perfectly happy to have. I don't watch Pokemon much anymore (I've seen maybe 10 Orange Island episodes and 3 or so Johto Journeys episodes), but if I watch, I cheer every time Pikachu says something or does something. Oh, and I have the awesome Pikachu calculator: each button has different "Pika, Pikachu, chuuuu, Pika-Pika, etc." sounds, and totally rocks! And I don't apologize. IP: Logged
