Coke then Sprite when I just want pop. As for my favorite pops, Orange Crush, Green Apple Jones Soda, and this wonderful ginger ale in glass bottles that you can get at the starbucks station in the mall.

I am the victim of war crimes. My Mother (who I spend alot of time with, thanks Dr Freud) is a Pepsi junkie; my husband is a Coke Junkie. Both swear every place we eat only serves the other, and pete help us if we all go out together, somebody's gonna pout.
For the record, I prefer Coke but I will drink Pepsi.
Now please quit asking before I start mumbling and have to go sit in a corner.

Coke if I can get it, otherwise Pepsi-Max. Normal Pepsi is too sweet.

My mom has a deep-seated physical addiction to Pepsi. So she would disown me if I ever drank Coke when Pepsi was available. But this is kind of a moot point for me, because
1) I honestly can't tell the difference.
2) I dislike cola in general. Give me root beer any day. Or, better yet, a non-carbonated beverage. Hey, look, theis cranberry juice has ingredients besides sugar, water, and "artificial flavors." Neat!

As far as i can tell, Pepsi Max is like Diet Pepsi for people who don't want to be seen drinking 'diet'

it's quite nice as well. Not that i'd ever drink a 'diet' cola. That's a woman's drink.

Because I am Indecision Girl, it's Coke when I feel like Coke, and Pepsi when I feel like Pepsi. I am a big fan of a Cherry or Vanilla Coke when it's made with real cherry or vanilla syrup. And Pepsi makes me burp more, so when I want the extra bubbles, that's what I grab.

Ginger Ale, Dew, and Dr. Pepper rounds off the list for me. And when I can find it, a Cel-Ray. Who would think that celery flavored soda would be so good?

Normally by the time I resort to buying either I'm so thirsty I'd drink whatever they're offering. There's not really much difference - Pepsi, in all its incarnations, is a bit sweeter, that's all.

Unless I'm doing it for the caffeine high, in which case Pepsi Max.

In order of importance:

  1. Jolt
  2. Dr Pepper
  3. Cream Soda
  4. Cherry Coke

Pepsi is just slightly better than Coke, but that's sort of like saying "Six" is slightly better than "Half Dozen".

There is a particularly nasty section of Hell awaiting the inventor of Diet Soda (now THERE'S an Oxymoron, right up there with "Military Intelligence" or "Rap music").

In order of preference:
Dr. Pepper
Cream Soda
Assorted Coke products

The only pepsi product that is marginally acceptable is cherry pepsi. The other stuff is just awful.

And absolutely no diet anything.

I don't really drink soda, but if I did, it'd be Coke. This may be from years of indoctrination (I grew up in Georgia, birthplace of Coca-cola). My boyfriend is a stalwart Pepsi fan. It's a source of conflict.

Nowadays, I drink water, iced tea, coffee (with a little skim milk), or sparkling water. The only sugary beverages I drink on a regular basis are fruit juices, which are mostly naturally sweet, but sweet nonetheless.

(1) Wink. If you don't know what this is, I pity you. If you can get it in your area, I will make you a piece of art special for you if you send me some. Unless you're EarlJr, in which case maybe I'll send you some underpants. Not necessarily mine.

(2) Dr. Pepper.

(3) Ginger ale.

(4) tea

(5) sweet tea

(6) tea

(7) more tea

(8) etc.

But I prefer Dr Pepper. Sweet, sweet Dr Pepper, nectar of the gods. No period after the R. You enigmatic, bubbly and fruity beverage. I live for thee. (I'm sorry — it's just that I stopped buying it and I drink tea instead. So now it's a rarity.)

Oh, but I've never had Wink. I'm assuming from the underpants offer and the name of the beverage itself that it has something to do with seduction.

Red Mt. Dew!

I think it is called 'red alert'or something chatchy like that. I'm not quite sure, but this stuff is great! cherry flavored anything makes me very happy.

I also like RedBull, alot. Nothin' like legal liquid crack that tastes like sweet-tarts and turpentine.

yay, faygo!

Coke. I've been boycotting Pepsi ever since the Einstein adverts, and they haven't given me any reason to go back since. Growing up, we had to drink the Caffeine Free Diet stuff, so it really made no difference whether it was Coke or Pepsi.

Hm. That's not really high praise, is it? Nonetheless, Wink is the Soda of Heaven, and NOTHING goes better with gin.

I'll have to go with the Wax Tadpole here...though my doctor told me to eschew caffeine from now on, so it has to be the caffeine-free variety.

I'm also a great fan of Squirt. And Jones Cherry Soda, and Faygo Red Pop.

And every once in a while I start jonesing for Fanta, though I can never find any. Argh!

Diet Wax Tadpole, for me. Cold cold cold. I don't care if it's flat, as long as it's cold.

If I'm drinking the non-diet stuff (which is rare for me), I prefer Coke but I'll drink Pepsi.

I will not drink diet Pepsi. That stuff am nasty. Pepsi One is reasonably palatable, but not much more so than Supermarket Generic Diet Cola.

Oh, and if we're talking weird drinks: Unsweetened lemonade. That is to say, ice water with lemon juice in it. Mmmm.

The only reason I'd be remotely interested in either Coke or Pepsi is if I was going to mix vodka with them; and somehow vodka just seems to go better with Coke. Pepsi is a little too sickly to mix well with it.

there's nothing wrong with fresca!
of course part of the reason i like it (as with many things) is the memory associated with it. (one of the last good times my sister and i spent time together before she moved to utah. ick.)

that said, i'm attempting to swear off soda and coffee, so i'll go with white grape juice.

What is Pepsi Max? A drink for wankers who go 'wooooooaaaargh' alot whilst doing some form of extreme sport or other, judging from the TV ads.

Anyhoo my soft beverage order goes something like this:

1) Ginger Beer (not Ginger ale)
2) Tea (English Breakfast, NOT Earl Grey, which isn't real tea as it's been polluted by the evil bergamot)
3) Freshly squeezed orange juice
4) Coke
5+) Anything else

1000000000) Root Beer - I don't like drinks that taste of embrocation.
